Summary
Assume responsibility for Business Continuity planning efforts with a major focus on assuring the adequacy of technology and business units contingency plans for critical business areas, functions and applications
Lead programs, activities and efforts related to Business Continuity planning to maintain continued operations, asset protection, and loss mitigation in the event of a disruption, coordinating activities among organization resources, technology and business units
Lead the development, enhancement, formalization, and standardization of the organization Business Continuity planning process, including forecasting and tracking mechanisms, across all business units, to facilitate timely accommodation of future recovery requirements  Assume leadership role in developing, coordinating, and maintaining comprehensive Business Continuity plans and validation methodology, to ensure organization’s ability to recover, in the event of an unforeseen disruption to facilities, technology, and or business units
Work with technology and business leadership and management to enhance contingency plans, mitigating the effect of a technology and or business failure or problem
Ensure technology and business units able to manage organization assets, satisfy Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regulatory obligations, and maintain presence, effectiveness and leadership in the market
Provide direct communications among various technology (Applications, Systems, Data Centres, Security, etc..) and business units (Operations, Customer Service, Sales, HR, Facilities, etc…) and participate in relevant planning meetings and activities
Facilitate timely identification, escalation, resolution, and follow-up for all outstanding Business Continuity planning programs, activities and issues
Perform Business Continuity departmental activities, including monthly status reporting, budgeting, strategic planning, documentation, and other activities
Provide Business Continuity planning documentation and training to relevant organization staff
Perform periodic reviews and tests of established organization Business Continuity plans and procedures, reporting findings to management and making recommendations for improvements as needed
Assure, in the event of a business interruption disrupting normal business processes or warranting relocation of any business unit, that the proper planning and testing have been accomplished to facilitate a timely restoration of business operations or relocation to an adequate alternate facility
Manage all activities and programs related to Business Continuity plans and procedures, while also working closely and coordinating activities related to disaster recovery operations within the technology division
Interface with regulatory authorities, auditors, executive and senior management, and staff at various layers while implementing and supporting all services related to organization Business Continuity, contingency planning, business recovery, disaster recovery, and risks management Implement recovery procedures in the event of a business interruption, and provide documentation and training on contingency planning procedures
Develop business recovery plans and procedures governing organization headquarter, regional, remote and retail offices and operations
Perform, directly or indirectly, periodic audits of existing organization Business Continuity, Business Recovery and Disaster Recovery plans and report to management on any improvements that need to be made
Coordinate business continuity plan exercises, and report the business continuity status of technology and business units to senior management
Play a leadership role and provide expertise and support to management and business units when a business disruption occurs
Perform other relevant duties as required
Develop and manage respective copmpany processes
Update the respective proceses and modify them as required
Review efficiency of respective proceses and recommend modicfications and improvements
Document, communicate, practice, and enforce respective processes
Manage and motivate organization staff and act as a role model for others to follow
Set and agree on function objectives and align them to company objectives, goals, targets and ambitions
Practice, live and enforce the company culture
